so last week Friday I went to "The Big Ticket" and ran into many good people. Over walks a bow tie, shades, contemporary haircut and crazy swag, "Yo, I wanna build witchu, I got crazy accessories ideas and I think we can do something good together" he says. I proceed to let The BowTie know that this is good timing as Im currently enroute to having a men's collection in a reputable menswear shoppe in downtown toronto.

Monday I send The BowTie a text asking when he wants to meet. We set something up for later in the week, and when we connect....MAGIC! Instant creative chemistry, positive energy and uncomplicated brainstorming. Before you know it, The BowTie mutates into Co-Designer and then i blink and when I open my eyes we've got designs, supplies, more ideas, tools, a name, a logo, more ideas, pricing, packaging and yep, you guessed it, more ideas!

I just wanted to introduce you to the birth of something VERY special. It's the long anticipated men's collection. Stay tuned for an update on the status of The Bloke Society.

You see this bowtie? This is the logo for :: The Bloke Society :: ... Get used to seeing it. I have collabo'd with a man who has a dope vision for the future of mens accessories, so I can guarantee you will be seeing a lot more of this logo and the freshness that comes with it.

The first place you can look is right at the corner of Brock St and King St W in the heart of the city, where the fashion streets is watchin', so you better be on your A-game as far as pulling a look together is concerned. This is the location of GOTSTYLE. The premier place to scout the cleanest, most current options that menswear has to offer including suits, shirts, slacks, shoes, sachels, socks, right down to your skivvies.

Although, GOTSTYLE does carry accessories, there is a general void in the realm of mens accessories and we are here to fill it with colour, ingenuity, and flair.

when I walked up the stairs into the retail store, I was greeted by

a beaming Melissa Austria (smooch smooch hug. We immediately sat

down and I poured out The Bloke Society onto the table.

"Oh My gosh! I LOVE the packaging! It's great! Simple, Easy to see the contents

and I really like that you've added a description of the piece to

make it easier for the customer and the staff".

We were both blown away! Me, by the reaction and Melissa by the

product. Simple, streamlined, with just the right amount of colour.

I brought 6 different styles that included wrist pieces and a new

ditty for your belt loops. Some of the pieces feature a leather strap

that is interchangeable with two colours per pack so you can switch

up your colour scheme depending on what you're wearing that day,

while others are simpler single pieces such as the 'Industrial'

Reptile print wrist pieces that closely resemble a belt.

"Does that one come in any other colours"? asked representative Neale.

Also there are these really neat pieces that come in a variety of

colour-ways that hang off your belt loop to add just a "splash" of

colour allowing any man to add strategic detail to their look.

Overall, my experince at GOTSTYLE was amazing. Stay tuned to the blog
